Say, thank you.❤️
Son, you are my sunshine and my love for you is boundless, but it’s crucial to understand that while you brighten my world, you are not the sun itself, the world doesn’t revolve around you.
I've been teaching you gratitude and the importance of not feeling entitled to anyone's kindness. This topic has been a recurring theme in our conversations because entitlement is something many people struggle with, sometimes without even realizing it. I may have had my moments too, but recent experiences have shown me firsthand how prevalent entitlement can be in our lives.
But you might wonder why this happens. It's quite puzzling. Some folks believe that the world should be grateful for their existence, and they expect everything to conform to their wishes. It's as if they wear a badge that says, "I'm this kind of person, and special treatment is my due."
Son, picture this – I've got some real-life stories that will make you scratch your head. So, in this wild adventure called life I have fellow team members, who treats me as the group's one and only encyclopedia. They might as well wear shirts that read, "Let's just wait for her to explain everything." And the most amusing ones are those who are excessively proud. These proud individuals will often bide their time, waiting for me to extend a helping hand, and they constantly look for shortcuts to push my buttons and elicit my assistance.
But here's the twist, my dear child - it's as though they possess a VIP pass to my knowledge and aren't even aware that they are sipping the entitlement soda. I'm always willing to lend a helping hand, but we’ve got to scrub away the entitlement stench.
I have more scenarios in mind, but I can't recall them at the moment. We'll save those stories for another time, and I want you to remember this lesson about entitlement. Always keep an eye out, and make sure you don't accidentally get caught up in entitlement. It's a topic we'll explore further in our journey together
So, my child, helping is fantastic but always be careful that entitlement doesn't linger in the atmosphere. And, as always, appreciate even the smallest acts of kindness. It's what makes your light shine.
