My Novemberrrrr!❤️
Man, I've been itching to
write for ages, but that pesky thing called writer's block? Yeah, it's been
camping out in my brain, freezing my thoughts! (“Icezzzz” on my brain) And hey,
can we talk about November? It zoomed past like a super-speedy marathon runner,
right? It's been a wild ride of emotions and events.
My birthday month has
always been special, but this year took the cake! Seriously, it was an
unforgettable A M A R A C H I. Every second of that day is etched in my memory.
Huge thanks to everyone who made it memorable. You guys know who you are! And
hey, I did say the birthday celebrations would last a month, so feel free to
keep those birthday mails coming in.
To those trying to hype
my language game after seeing my birthday post, I see what you're doing! And
for those who think I'm an English whiz, Ha! If only you knew. All these fancy
words I use here? It's like living a double life, juggling between reality and
this facade of linguistic prowess. Exhausting, to say the least!
I barely got any reading
done this month; it's like eating replaced my reading time, yet there's no
proof of it (story of my life, really). I made a real effort to boost my
drawing skills, though. Everyone says I can draw, but I'm not convinced. I
dabbled in some doodles (sounds like food already, doesn't it?), but trust me,
my sketches aren't ready for the spotlight.
Also, I was knee-deep in
academic work. Man, academic work is no joke. I hit some roadblocks, but come
on, resilient folks don't throw in the towel easily.
Then, camp meeting happened!
I had the time of my life at camp meeting! Even here, even now, I’m grateful for
the gift of Rev. Eghosa Alvin Osunde, Rev. Chris Segun Onayinka and Rev.
Williams Kolawole. Seriously, if we learned to appreciate these amazing beings
called "MEN," life would be even more fantastic. Learning to count
every “not so little” blessing has been eye opening.
My sister's graduation ceremony happened this month, giving us some quality
family time. Meeting my mom after a year felt incredibly heartwarming. Those
family moments and relishing delicious food are truly precious memories that I
deeply treasure.
Fayrouz drinks became an
interesting discovery for me this month, but as usual, my love for plantains
and puff puff remains unwavering. My relationship with beans hit a rough patch,
but I'm hopeful for a better bond in the coming month.
November raced by,
leaving behind incredible moments and reflections that made me appreciate the
journey I'm on. This month has been a treasure chest full of wholesome
experiences, nudging me to be more purposeful. I'm just thrilled that I'm
getting better at being grateful for both the grand and subtle moments.
